Reach New Heights In Your Life
Guiding Northbrook and North Shore Chicago residents into greater connections through individual, relationship, and sex therapy
“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.”
Do you find yourself stuck in your life or relationships? Lost? Wounded? Wandering aimlessly or alone? Or perhaps things just aren’t what you know they could be and you are yearning for change.
Don't settle for just surviving...you deserve to thrive.
Navigating life and our most intimate relationships can often feel like an uphill battle--where conflict, trauma, and dissatisfaction can stop you in your tracks or leave you feeling discouraged to keep pressing on.
The good news is that you don't have to walk this road alone.
My name is Rebecca, and I'm here to help you better understand yourself, the people around you, and your path to peace. My approach with my clients is direct and compassionate. Using various evidence-based techniques, I aim to empower you to move forward and feel better.
Let me show you the way.

What to expect on your first visit
Starting with a new therapist can sometimes feel intimidating, so you should be commended for taking the initiative in owning your story. I’m here to ease you into the process in a way that will never feel forced or rushed. You should know there is no wrong thing to say, and your journey will be met with compassion and an open mind. Come as you are, ready to engage with honesty and willingness, and we will see progress and healing. Sessions can be conducted in person in Northbrook or online for anyone living in Illinois. Therapy is sexuality, gender, and poly/kink affirming, and welcoming to individuals across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do.”
Why see a sex therapist?
“Our sex lives are the bellwether of our emotional lives.”

The goals of sex therapy, regardless of whether you are interested in couples therapy or individual therapy are to improve connection, create intimacy, sexual exploration, if desired, improving pleasure, and most importantly, creating a deeper understanding of self.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I strive to provide a safe environment for all my clients. I work with people from all backgrounds and value ethnic and racial diversity, and I am LGBTQIA+-affirming, poly/kink aware. Sex therapy is for individuals, couples, polycules, and anywhere in between.

A sex therapist is a trained psychotherapist who addresses a wide range of sexual concerns. Using talk therapy, the aim is to address any sexual problems or even just help cultivate a better sex life. The goal is to help you find an improved sense of self, feel more connected to your partner, and experience sexual pleasure.

Sex therapy can be for any adult looking to find more satisfaction in their sex life. It can be for anyone looking to confront any issues that are hindering sexual gratification. Issues may range from healing sexual shame, to addressing out-of-control sexual behavior, sexual pain, sexual dysfunction, low libido, sex and cancer, sexual assault recovery, engaging in kink or polyamory, navigating changes arising in menopause, and understanding your own sexuality, gender, or asexuality.
